摘要
数十年来,科研工作者们致力于推行交际语言教学法的研究。本文浅析了交际语言教学法的特点以及高校英语教师们所面临的挑战。在高校英语课堂中实行交际语言教学的难度在于高校英语教师们对交际语言教学真正含义往往有误解,专业素质过硬并能有效运用交际语言教学法的英语教师相对缺乏,传统的教学方法仍然占主导地位,以及学生的英语水平具有地域性差异。通过分析交际语言教学法的特点及其带来的挑战,得出教师的任务、学生的任务和研究学者的任务三个方面的启示。
For decades, researchers have studied the implemen-tation of Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) in China. This research is focused on the characteristics of CLT and the chal-lenges for English teachers in implementing CLT. It summarizes the challenges of implementing CLT as lacking of qualified Eng-lish teachers, misunderstanding of the real meaning of CLT, the dominance of traditional teaching approach, and regional dispari-ties. Based on the main findings and the limitations of previous studies, three major implications are generated from three as-pects: the task of teachers, the task of students, and the task of researchers.
