摘要
车牌定位是汽车车牌识别的一个重要的环节,在研究汽车车牌定位的过程中,发现了一种可以快速定位汽车车牌的新技术。针对蓝底车牌不反射蓝色光的特点,提出了一种基于彩色图像蓝色通道进行车牌定位的算法,算法首先根据蓝色通道数值过滤其它通道的颜色,使用几何形态检测技术对过滤后的图斑依次进行检测,最后剩余的区域极为车牌区域。实验证明该方法能够快速的查找到图像中车牌的位置,法计算量小,速度快。适合在实时性要求高的场合使用。
The vehicle license plate location is an important process in license numbers recognition, discovered a rapid algorithm in study of vehicle license plate location, because of the features of blue license plate, this paper present a algorithm for license plate location using the blue channel of color image. First, filter the other channel data of image by blue channel data, using a ge- ometry shape detect the every area. Finally, the remainder area is the license plate location. The experimental results show that this algorithm can rapid detect the location, it has very small calculation and fast speed features. It's better used in somewhere need real-time.
