作为当代北美生态学马克思主义的领军人物,詹姆斯·奥康纳对资本主义所造成的环境危机进行了深刻的揭露和批判。他从资本主义积累、技术的资本主义使用以及生态殖民主义方面阐述了全球性生态危机的产生无法避免。而存在于资本主义内部的双重矛盾决定了其无法克服这个危机,而生态学社会主义的实现则是破解生态危机最好的方式。全面梳理和研究奥康纳的生态批判思想,对我们处理经济发展与生态保护的关系,构建社会主义生态文明具有重要的启示意义。
As a leading figure in contemporary North American ecology of the Marx doctrine, James O Conner made a profound exposition and criticism on the capitalist environmental crisis. He explains the inevitability of global ecological crisis from the capitalist accumulation, capitalist use of technology, and ecological colonialism. The dual contradictions of capitalism interior existence decide that it is unable to overcome this crisis, and the realization of ecological socialism is the best way to break the ecological crisis. Comprehensive study and analysis of ecological criticism of O Conner is of great significance for us to handle the relation of economic development and ecological protection and promote socialist ecological progress.
