摘要
通过对98名英语专业学生的语言能力和语用能力的实证研究,发现学生的英语语言能力和语用能力具有显著的相关性,英语语用能力具有性别差异,女生明显优于男生。针对研究结果做了尝试性的分析和解释,并提出外语教学中应该同时兼顾学生的语言能力和语用能力,并要考虑性别差异进行因材施教。
In the present empirical study on 98 English majors' linguistic competence and pragmatic competence, the author finds that there is a significant correlation between linguistic competence and pragmatic competence, gender differences on pragmatic competence are also found in that female students are much better than that of the male. Then, the author analyzes the research result and proposes that we should cultivate EFL' S linguistic competence and pragmatic competence as well in English teaching, and adopt different teaching method in consideration of gender difference.
