Characteristics of Torrential Rains over the Past Five Years in Shenzhen and Main Systems of Influence

摘要 利用深圳市稠密自动气象站降水观测,对2008—2012年64个大暴雨(24 h雨量≥100mm)以上降雨特征进行了分析。结果表明:(1)大暴雨主要集中在5—9月,6月达到峰值;降水主要出现在10:00—14:00,其中14:00降水次数最多。(2)大暴雨具有累积雨量大、强降水时间集中、雨强大等特点;雨强出现频率与时雨量值成反比;全市有3个显著高发区。(3)大暴雨的天气形势主要有台风型、西南季风型、北部湾低压型、热带云团型和冷空气切变线型,台风型出现次数最多,其次是西南季风型。(4)5月多见冷空气切变线型;6月以西南季风型为主;7—9月以台风型为主。 The characteristics of 64 torrential rains (with 24-h rainfall ≥ 100 mm) in 2008-2012 are studied in this work using the observations from a dense network of automatic weather stations in Shenzhen. The results are shown as follows. ( 1 ) Torrential rains mainly occur in May to September and peak in June. Rains concentrate from 10:00 to 14:00, with 14:00 having the most occurrences. (2) Torrential rains are characterized by large accumulative amount, concentrated time of occurrence and large rain rate. The frequency of rain rates is inversely proportional with the hourly rainfall amount. There are three areas of high rain rates in the city. (3) Torrential rains take place in association with such synoptic patterns as typhoons, Southwest Monsoon, depressions in the Beibu Bay, tropical cloud clusters and cold-air shears. The pattern of typhoons occurs most, followed by that of Southwest Monsoon. (4) The pattern of cold-air shears is mostly seen in May, that of Southwest Monsoon in June and that of typhoons in July to September.
