Effects of Snail and PTEN expressions on invasion and metastasis of non-small cell lung cancer

摘要 目的探讨非小细胞肺癌(NSCLC)组织中锌指结构转录抑制因子Snail和张力蛋白同源10号染色体缺失的磷酸酶基因(PTEN)的表达与临床病理特征的关系。方法采用免疫组化法检测126例NSCLC及74例癌旁正常肺组织中Snail和PTEN蛋白的表达。结果 NSCLC中,Snail蛋白表达率为74.60%(94/126),PTEN蛋白表达率为41.27%(52/126);两者的表达水平均与肺癌的分化程度、TNM分期、淋巴结转移及术后生存时间有关(P<0.05)。NSCLC中Snail蛋白与PTEN蛋白的表达水平呈负相关(P<0.01)。结论 Snail高表达与PTEN低表达与肺癌的侵袭、转移密切相关。 Objective To study the relationship of Snail protein and phosphatase and tensin homolog deleted on chromosome ten(PTEN) expressions and clinicopathologic characteristics of non- small cell lung cancer(NSCLC). Methods Snail and PTEN protein expressions were detected using immunohistochemistry in 126 cases of NSCLC and 74 cases of tumor-adjacent normal lung tissues. Results The positive rates of Snail and PTEN in NSCLC were 74.60% (94/126) and 41.27% (52/126), respectively. The expressions of Snail and PTEN were closely related with tumor differentiation, TNM staging, lymph node metastasis and survival time (P〈0. 05). The expression of Snail was negatively correlated to that of PTEN in NSCLC (P〈0. 01 ). Conclusion The overexpression of Snail protein and decreased expression of PTEN in NSCLC are closely related with the invasion and metastasis of NSCLC.
