摘要
保罗·奥斯特的作品重视叙事创意,他使用后现代主义语言,在虚实结合的元空间中一再讲述令他着迷的主题:"偶然"与"巧合"的人生、自由的"囚徒"、迷失的"自我"、虚幻的"乌托邦"、"真实"与"虚幻"之间的界限等,形成了强大的回声与共鸣。但是他的创作也陷入了重重困境:重复的创作、单薄的情节和消极的思想。他的叙事创意与创作困境正是后现代主义作家的一个写照。
Paul Auster has been putting a lot of emphasis on originality of narrative in his works, and in post- of fragments and element space of fiction and reality, he tells the themes that have always fasci- nated him : life full of chance and coincidence, free "prisoner", the lost "self", illusory "utopia", and line between fiction and reality, forming a strong echo and resonance. However, his writing has been into some trouble:repetition, tiny plot, and negative thoughts. His narrative creativity and writing predicament is a portrayal of postmodernist writers.
