摘要
袁燮是南宋时期宁波著名的心学家和政治家,他提出自己的世家理念。袁燮认为,能称得上世家者,不在于权势和钱财的延续,而在于精神与气脉的传承。精神气脉的传承在于传"心",而传"心"又寓于谨严的家法之中。袁燮的世家理念,来源于孟子的"世臣"观念,与他自己显赫的家世有关,对于今人具有启迪意义。
Yuan Xie was a famous philosopher of the mind and politician in the Southern Song Dynasty in Ningbo. He put forward a concept called “Family Idea”. According to Yuan Xie’s concept, aristocratic family was not the accumulation of power and money, but the inheritance of spirit and mind. The key point of spirit inheritance is the inheritance of “mind”, which lied in the continuation of strict domestic discipline. Yuan Xie’s family idea derived from Mencius “Shi Chen” concept which means royal statesman. The reason why Yuan Xie came up with this concept has relationship with his prominent family background. His family idea has a practical significance to us today.
