摘要
语义地图模型假设人类具有共同的概念空间,但我们无法确定这是否为事实。有些现象表明,我们可能无法进行有意义的比较,因为不同的语言在对现实世界进行概念化的过程中所用的参数、表达手段以及隐喻可能并不一样,甚至是完全不兼容,而这些无法在语义地图模型中得到体现。因此,语义地图模型中的功能节点,很有可能就是不同甚至完全不兼容的概念,而共同概念空间的存在,也就值得质疑了。
Semantic map model assumes that human beings have a common concept of space, but we cannot determine whether this is a fact or not. Some phenomena show that we may not be able to conduct a meaningful comparison, because the parameters, expressing means and metaphor used by the different languages in the process of the real world for encoding or conceptualizing may not be the same, or even are completely incompatible, which cannot be reflected in the semantic model. Therefore, the function nodes of semantic map model are likely different or even completely incompatible with the concept, and the existence of the common concept of space is questionable.
