Throbbed with natural romantic fragrance and humanistic pursuit, Shen Congwen＇ s works present his sincere love for Xiangxi - the west of Hunan province. He harbors harmonious ecological ideal and is loyal to his inner mind, undauntedly pursuing the paradise in his mind. He aims to make the anthropocentrism to innovate and develops the influential ecological perspectives such as di- vine nature, unity of nature and mankind and beauty of humanity. His ecological perspectives have unique aesthetic meaning and philo- sophical and realistic meaning as well, offering precious spiritual wealth to the people in current ecological chaos.
