摘要
为读者服务是图书馆工作的基本宗旨,服务创新是图书馆存在和发展的动力,决定着图书馆的服务水平和服务能力。在当前图书馆面临人力资源短缺的情况下,把志愿者引入到高校图书馆工作中,不但能缓解读者需求与读者服务之间的矛盾,还可以为志愿者提供一个社会实践、锻炼自我、培养敬业意识和社会责任感的平台。高校图书馆可以通过建立志愿者管理系统,并制定合理的管理制度和奖励机制,使志愿者活动能够充分发挥作用,提高服务质量。
The basic purpose of the library is to provide the service for the vast readers. Service innovation is the fundamental goal of the existing and development of library that determines the service level and service ability. Facing the shortage of the human resource, if the volunteer troop participates in the service work of the university library, it will relax the contradiction between the reader' s requirements and reader' s service in some degree. At the same time, library volunteer service provides the opportunity of social practice for the volunteers and provides the platforms of the social practice, the self-exercise, professional dedication, social responsibility. The university library can establish the volunteer management system, the rules and regulations and the reward mechanism to make the volunteer activity be in full force and improve the quality of service.
