摘要
自江淹《恨赋》、《别赋》被萧统收入《昭明文选》之后,遂作为江淹辞赋之代表作广为人知,其次第也多从《文选》编排,先《恨》后《别》,钱钟书先生更以为"《别赋》乃《恨赋》之附庸而蔚为大国者"。但通过对文本的细读并结合江淹仕宦经历的考察,认为《别赋》先出《恨赋》后作的可能性更大。《别赋》所写并非简单地按类排比,而融入了江淹本人与亲友、家人辞别的感受;《恨赋》也不仅仅是代古人申恨,其中秦帝、赵王等人都寓有特定的指向;故《别赋》或作于江淹赴吴兴途中,《恨赋》当是江淹自吴兴返京口后所为,二赋之写作动机及命意均与江淹特定经历,尤其是江淹与建平王景素的关系密切相关。循此入手,不但可以对《别赋》为何而别,别者何人,《恨赋》为何而恨,恨者何事给出一个合理的解释,而且有助于更好地认识《别》、《恨》二赋之写作特征及在江淹诗赋创作历程中的特殊意义。
Since the collecting of JIANG Yan's On Pity and On Departure into the literary anthology by XIAO Tong, the two works have been regarded as JIANG's representatives and known ever since;the sequence follows generally that in the Anthology:On Pity after On Departure, and this was even believed by QIAN Zhong-shu. However, new evidences imply that it is more possible for On Departure to appear before On Pity ,which may shed light on a better understanding of Jiang's lit- erary work compostion.
