Objective To observe the effect of Danshen ligustrazine for injection on blood theology, high-sen- sitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and fat metabolism on elderly patients with unstable angina pectoris (UAP). Methods 106 elderly patients with UAP were randomly divided into treatment group ( n = 54 ) and control group ( n = 52 ). Control group was treated according to the UAP treatment guidelines, treatment group was added with Danshen li- gustrazine for injection 10 mL in 0. 9% sodium chloride 250 mL iv drip once a day,for 15 consecutive days on the ba- sis of control group. The changes of hs-CRP,indexes of blood rheology and fat metabolism were measured before and after treatment. Results The improvements of angina and ECG in the treatment group were better than those in the control group ( P 〈 0. 05 ). After treatment, the hs-CRP in the two groups decreased than before treatment, and the treat- ment group decreased significantly than that of control group ( P 〈 0. 05 ). After treatment, the indexes of blood theolo- gy and fat metabolism were significantly improved than before treatment ( P 〈 0. 05 ). There was no obvious adverse re- actions in the two groups after treatment. Conclusion Danshen ligustrazine for injection has a good curative effect on elderly patients with UAP, which might be related to reducing hs-CRP,improving blood rheology and fat metabolism.
