摘要
专门用途英语(ESP)是一种新型教学模式,能够增强学生英语实用能力,使其适应职业岗位的需求。阐述ESP课堂教学的实施办法,对ESP师资队伍建设提出要求,以期为高职院校英语教学向注重学生职业能力培养方向改革提供参考。
English for specific purposes （ESP） is a new mode of teaching, which can enhance students＆#39; English practical ability, so as to meet the demand of occupation. This article expounds on the measures for the implementation of the proposed ESP classroom teaching, and the requirement of the teaching staff for ESP, with a view to providing reference for the reform of English Teaching in higher vocational colleges.
