摘要
苏格拉底会爱一个人吗?问题有两重含义,一是怀疑苏格拉底是否知道如何去爱一个人,重点在"爱"上;二是怀疑苏格拉底是否能真的爱上"一个人",重点在爱的对象上;同时责问背后还在质疑这种爱的效果能否为其正当性辩护。值得追问的是苏格拉底/柏拉图式的爱究竟与一个具体的人有何关系,爱的对象有哪些,进而追问哲学对个人的教育如何可能,哲人如何在个体与普遍的困境中得以自适。
Can Socrates love a person？ This question has two meanings. One is to doubt whether Socrates knows how to love a person, emphasizing the ＂love＂, and the other whether Socrates can really love ＂a person＂, focusing on the object to love. At the same time it still questions whether this kind of love＇ s effect can be a reasonable justification for itself. It is of significance to pursue the issues about what relationship Socratic-Platonic love actually has with a specific person or ＂individual＂, and what are the objects of this kind of love, and then further ask how philosophy makes it possible to educate the individual as well as how the philosopher can adapt himself to the dilemma between the individual and the universal.
