摘要
作为历史上的"浙东望郡"——宁波,自近代开埠以来便开始现代化的历程,这其中交通发挥了不小的作用。以轮船、火车、汽车为代表的新式交通逐次引入,深刻改变了宁波社会经济的面貌。新式交通建设伴随着城市空间扩展、布局演变以及人们时空观的改变,与城市现代化进程是相辅相成、息息相关的。
As an important city in east Zhejiang, Ningbo began its process of modernization since its opening to the outside world and in this process traffic played an important role. New types of traffic of ship, trains and automobiles profoundly changed Ningbo’s economy and society. New types of traffic are indispensible with the urban modernization for they go together with the expansion of the city, the evolvement of the layout and the changed concept of time and space of the people.
