摘要
本文以刘既漂及其"美术建筑"为研究对象,与以往相关研究过度依赖其西湖博览会设计不同,笔者更加关注其美术建筑探索、形成和实践的整个历程,尤其重视其以往被忽略的西湖博览会前基于美术建筑思想的方案创想和西湖博览会后的设计实践。笔者认为前者更能体现其创作思想和手法,后者则更具实践意义,而从三者的对比中能更加清晰的了解其理论与实践之间的差距。在梳理其"美术建筑"历程的基础上,文章进一步运用西梅尔斯坦提出的理论解读方法,从"美术建筑"是什么?如何产生?目的何在?如何达到目的?目标听众是谁?如何呈现与推广?效果、评价及影响如何?等七个方面对其进行全面解读。
Taking Liou KiPaul and his“Art Architecture” as research objects, this paper is different to other related researches which depended more on his design of West Lake Expo. This paper pays more attention to his concept design before West Lake Expo and his design practice after West Lake Expo. The former shows more about his design theory and method, the latter makes more sence on the respect of practice. And then, by using Himmelstein’s way of reading theoy and through answering seven questions such as:What is Art Architecture? How it comes into being? What is its purpose? How to achieve this aim? Who are the supposed audiences? How this idea presented and disseminated? How are the affection, evaluation and influence?, this paper intends to get a comprehensive interpretation about Liou KiPaul and his“Art Architecture”.
