摘要
本研究介绍了二语习得研究领域常用的两种词汇广度知识和深度知识的测试手段"词汇水平测试"(VLT)和"词汇知识量表"(VKS),并以2007-2011年间8种国内外语类核心期刊中的二语词汇习得实证研究为材料,对这两种词汇测试的使用情况进行了分析,发现VLT和VKS的应用中存在若干问题,并探讨了如何在中国二语习得研究环境中合理有效地使用这两种测试。
The current study introduces two popular means of measuring the breadth and depth of vocabulary knowl- edge by SLA researchers, Vocabulary Levels Test (VLT) and Vocabulary Knowledge Scale (VKS), and probes into their application in empirical studies of vocabulary acquisition in China. The analysis suggests that misconceptions a- bout and erroneous treatments of the two tests abound in those studies and creative elements need to be introduced to supplement them
