摘要
作为"中国新闻之父",王韬不仅创办了近代中国人独立创办的第一份日报《循环日报》,而且系统阐释了新闻理论。他认为报纸的基本功能主要有三:一是让中国与世界相互沟通了解;二是沟通统治者与普通民众;三是引导正确的舆论。他倡导在中国发展新闻事业,对中国新闻事业的产生和发展起到了巨大推动作用。
As the father of Chinese Journalism,Wang Tao not only founded the first daily circulation of modern Chinese,but also elucidated the press theory systematically.He believed that the newspaper had three basic functions: first,mutual communication and understanding between China and the world; second,mutual communication and understanding between ruler and ordinary people; third,guiding the correct public opinion.He advocated the development of journalism in China,which played a huge role in promoting the emergence and development of Chinese journalism.
