摘要
与传统的RS 2 32总线相比 ,CAN总线是一个高速、长距离、多主、经济的网络系统 ,特别适用于实时系统。其易用性和低成本使得CAN在汽车工业和自动化领域得到广泛的应用。因此设计高性能的RS 2 32与CAN总线的接口卡以代替传统的PC机的RS 2 32总线通信具有重要意义。本文主要介绍了CAN总线的工作原理和RS 2 32与CAN接口卡的软硬件设计过程及注意事项。
Compared with the conventional RS 232 bus,the Controller Area Network(CAN) is a high speed,long distance,multi master and cost effective network system especially suitable for real time control system.Its ease of use and low cost have led to its wide adoption throughout the automotive industry and automation fields.So it is useful to design a RS 232-CAN interface card to replace the conventional RS 232 bus.Some ways into explaining how to develop a RS 232-CAN interface card and the working mechanism of Controller Area Network(CAN) are given.
