The development process of alkaline treatment technologies is introduced. The effects of alkali species and the molar ra- tios of Si to Al on zeolite structure are reviewed. The combined alkaline treatment technologies and other technologies are summarized. The types of catalysts are also reviewed. The application scope of preparation zeolites using alkaline treatment technology is greatly ex- panded.
