摘要
通过一个具体的实例，介绍了Oracle8 数据库系统中的大型对象（LOBs）数据类型在MIS中的应用，详细给出了用Delphi4.0在Client/Sever、Browser/Server 结构中操纵Oracle8中的大型对象字段的方法，并给出了相应的程序段。
In this paper we demonstrate how to use large objects (LOBs) provided by Oracle8 in a MIS application through a concrete example. We illustrate the method to manipulate LOBs in Oracle8 using Delphi 4.0 under the Client/Server and Browser/Server architecture in detail and give the corresponding program codes.
