摘要
翻译标准在很长时期的重要内容之一是对等,这种对等可以看作翻译过程中某一方面的等值不变。文章从翻译史演进的角度探讨"对等"范畴从古至今的变迁,从古代字对字的死译到后来较为灵活的意译,再到现代的多元系统论、女性主义翻译理论和后殖民翻译理论等,都在寻求文本中某些方面的对应。
One of the most major work of translation standards is to find equivalence, which can be seen as a constant during the process of translation. This article discusses the expanding of the scope of ＇equivalence＇ in the development of translation in history. From word-to-word translation and then paraphrase,which is more flexible and to Polysystem Theory, Feminism and Post-Colonial Theory, the translators are trying to seek the unchanged value while the language is being changed.
