摘要
句法-语义界面研究聚焦于语义对句法的影响和句法如何表征语义。本文以中动句为例,从意向性的角度对句式结构的形成过程进行解释。人的心智是同"自我"联系在一起的,某一句式的创始者在建构一个句式时总是把客体同自我对客体的感受统领在一个心智模式里,这带来句式研究的一个较新的维度:用"意向性"作为解释的切入点,进行"意向性解释"。根据这一观点,本文建构了一个"意向性解释三角",作为对例如中动句研究的理论框架。句式结构的创始者是以用例事件("解释项")通过心智(做出"解释")来诠释某个客观事件("被解释项"),最终形成中动句。这是认知主体按照一定的意向态度通过映射和涌现形成语言符号,以表征一定意向内容。
The study of the interface between syntax and semantics focuses on the impact of the semantics on the syntax, and on the coming- out of the syntax. The present article ventures an explanation of syntactic formation in terms of intentionality with the English Middle Construction as a case. Human beings＇ mind is self-centered as its main characteristic, thus the initiator of a syntactic construction would always bring together in the construction the main features of the object which he would like to represent by the construction and his own feeling towards the object. This gives birth to a somewhat new viewpoint towards the study of syntax-formation, an＂Intentional Explanation Approach＂. Accordingly, the present article tries to present a theoretical framework of ＂A Triangle of Intentional Explanation＂in order to explain the formation of the syntax, such as the English Middle. In terms of this Triangle, the initiator used the explanans （the syntactic form） to explain the explanandum （the object represented） through his mental feeling towards the object to serve as the explaining. The final syntactic construction such as the Middle thus formed was the signal symbol to represent through processes of mapping and emergence the intentional content from the point of view of the initiator＇s intentional attitude.
