The competitive situation and main tactics of trunk airliner, regional airliner and general airliner manufacturers abroad are described. The way and methods of supporting and protecting the national civil airplane manufacturing industries in USA and European countries, as well as Japanese, Brazilian and Indonesian governments are introduced. Some proposals for developing Chinese civil airplane industry are put forward.
