摘要
改革开放以来,中国出国留学的各类学生人数不断增长,进入21世纪以后,更是呈快速增长态势,在中国社会形成一股强劲的潮流。导致留学潮形成的主要因素包括政府政策,社会、经济的发展和居民的教育消费心理等等。留学潮给中国乃至世界带来巨大深远的社会和经济影响。中国出国留学人数强劲的增长趋势在可预见的未来仍将延续,根据最近四年的增长速度预测,2013年出国留学人数将突破45万人。社会各方应理性看待与应对居民的留学热情并予以积极正确的引导。
Ever since the economic reform and opening-up, the population of Chinese students who study abroad grows continuously. Especially after the twenty-first century, the growth speeds up and forms a strong trend in Chi- nese society. This tide of studying abroad is caused by several major factors, including government policy, social and economic development, citizen＇ s consumptive psychology on education, et cetera. The tide of studying abroad has brought large and profound social and economic impact not only to China but also to the rest of the world, pro- ducing many elite talents who have made noteworthy contributions to China＇ s national rejuvenation, social advance- ment and economic development. The number of Chinese students who study abroad will continue its strong growth momentum in the foreseeable future. Based on the growth rate in the last 4 years, it can be predicted that this num- ber will pass 450,000 by 2013. Every part of our society should treat people＇ s enthusiasm for studying abroad from rational perspectives and with positive and proper guidance.
