摘要
近年国内外有些著名学者提出,应以"新人文精神"作为比较文学的灵魂。这一主张实是深合于比较文学的一贯传统,因为无论在西方还是在中国,比较文学学科从来就有其人文主义传统,正是这一传统构成了比较文学学科的内在精神和发展动力。为使比较文学更好地体现人文主义精神,颇有必要认真回顾和清理各国比较文学已有的人文主义传统,它们不仅丰富而深厚,而且在新时代并未过时。人文主义精神的一个重要方面就是,对于传统不是采取笼统和割裂的态度,而是加以充分辨识与融贯。
In recent years, some scholars have proposed that "new humanism" should be the soul of comparative literature. In fact, comparative literature has always had its humanist tradition. Whether in the West or in China, it is this tradition that constitutes the inner spirit and momentum of comparative literature. Therefore, to better demonstratte the spirit of humanism in comparative literature, it is necessary to review and clarify its humanist tradition, which is not only abundant and deep, but also not obsolete in this new era. it is an important element of humanism that dif- ferentiating and mediating instead of indiseriminating or separating our traditions.
