摘要
为了提高多模通信系统前端放大器的利用率问题,基于复合左右手传输线的理论,提出了一种双频高效功率放大器的设计方法。采用负载牵引和源牵引法确定放大器高效工作状态的最佳负载阻抗和最佳源阻抗,利用复合左右手传输线的频率偏移和非线性相位来设计放大器匹配网络。通过ADS软件仿真,放大器同时工作在0.5 GHz和1.2 GHz的频率点时,输出功率分别为39.9 dBm和37.9 dBm,工作效率分别为55.7%和51.3%。
In order to improve the utilization of front-end amplifier for multimode communication system, a dual-band high power amplifier design based on the theory of Composite Right/Left Handed Transmission -Line is proosed. With load pull and source pull to determine optimum plate impedance and optimum source impedance under amplifier' s efficient working state, and by using frequency offset and nonlinear phase of composite right/left handed transmission line, the amplifier matching network is designed. The simulation with ADS software indicates that the amplifier' s output powers are 39.9 dBm and 37.9 dBm, working efficiencies 55.7% and 51.3% respectively, while amplifier works at 0.5 GHz and 1.2 GHz fre- quency points.
