摘要
独立学院在高举的培养应用型本科人才大旗下,积极鼓励学生考研是不是独立学院发展必要途径,值得我们思考。本文通过对独立学院毕业生考研动因和独立学院鼓励毕业生考研动因的考察,指出独立学院鼓励毕业生考研是对其人才培养目标的一种偏离;是对服务地方经济的一种偏离;是对国家毕业生就业率统计初衷的一种偏离。因此,独立学院应依据国家有关政策,踏实做好应用型本科人才培养,走好特色发展和错位发展之路。
It is worth considering the approach adopted by independent colleges to mobilize students to pursue graduate programs instead of developing into applied talents. This paper examined the major factors in this motivation from the perspective of the undergraduates and the college authorities, thus demonstrating the approach diverted from the targets of talent cultivation, local economic involvement, and graduates employment statidstics. It, consequently, proposes that independent colleges take actions to develop its characteristic and feature approach toward cultivating applied talents in line with the state policy.
