The density of NdF 3 LiF melts was measured by Archimedes method in the present paper.The regression equation of the density dependence on the concentration of NdF 3 and temperature was gained by means of two factor quadratic regression orthogonal design.And the effects of the concentration of NdF 3 and temperature on the density of the melts were discussed.Moreover,the influences of the addition of Nd 2O 3 on the density were investigated.
