摘要
高校图书馆一向被喻为高校的心脏,在高校中处于核心地位。从学术研究的角度看,高校图书馆是学术资源中心,同时也是学术支持中心。高校图书馆应该认清自己的核心价值,为高校师生教学科研提供支持。文章对美国10所著名大学图书馆绩效评估现状进行研究,对各图书馆绩效评估的目标、评估主体、评估方法、评估指标、评估效益进行全面、深入的分析和研究,目的是为我国高校图书馆绩效评估实施提供参考。
University library has always been hailed as the heart of the university. From the academic research point of view, it is the academic resource center and the academic support center on the campus. The university libraries should identify their owri core values, and provide all kinds of information to assist the teaching and scientific research of teachers and students. This paper selects 10 American university libraries as the research objects and studies their performance evaluation respectively, analyzing the objects, main contents, methods, indicators and the benefits of their assessment, in hope of providing reference for the university library performance evaluation in China.
