The status of the world wide Lyocell fiber development and production is intrduced. In every aspect, such as eviroment protection, source utilization, the fiber properties and so on, the grand ad- vantages of Lyocell fiber are proved. Through some economic data, It's pointed out that the Lyocell fiber industry will bring the textile industry scalation.
