基于PCI Express总线的模幂运算器的实现

摘要 PCI Express协议由于其高速串行、系统拓扑简单等特点被广泛用于各种领域。研究支持PCI Express总线的数据加密设备,可以解决当前加密设备与主机之间数据传输速率低的问题,提高现有产品的性能。文中基于Montgomery模乘算法和同步FIFO缓存器,利用DMA的传输功能,实现了以PCI Express为通讯接口的模数长度可变的RSA模幂运算器。该模幂运算器可用于实现基于CRT方式的RSA签名算法和素数域的求逆运算,增强系统的灵活性。该算法接口经过稍微改进,也可作为对称密码算法的接口;这种统一的算法接口设计,利用了DMA的特性,可适应PCI Express高性能要求。 The PCI Express protocol has been applied in more and more fields because of its serial high speed characteristic and simple system topology. Through the study of encryption devices that support the PCI Express bus,the problem of the low data transfer rate be-tween current encryption devices and the host can be solved,and the performance of current encryption devices can be improved. Based on the Montgomery modular multiplication algorithm and the synchronous FIFO buffer,using the DMA transfer function,a modular expo-nentiation with the variable-length modulus is implemented through the PCI Express bus. The modular exponentiation can be used for the CRT-based RSA signature algorithm and the algorithm for inversion in the prime field,and the flexibility of the system can be enhanced. The algorithm interface can also be used as a symmetric cipher algorithm interface through slightly improved;this unified algorithm inter-face design that uses the characteristics of DMA can adapt to the requirements of the high-performance PCI Express.
