摘要
OTDR是一种常见的光纤链路损耗测试仪器,是分布式光纤传感器的技术基础。单脉冲光时域反射计存在动态范围和空间分辨率间的矛盾,对发射光脉冲进行编码能有效地克服二者之间的矛盾。本文在对OTDR基本构成、原理及主要参数进行简述的基础上,总结了脉冲编码光时域反射计技术的发展现状,并对三种常用编码方式的实现方法、编码增益进行了分析和比较。
OTDR is a common optical fiber link loss test instrument, which is foundation of distributed optical fther sensor technology. However, there exists a contradiction between dynamic range and spatial resolution of single pulse optical time domain reflectometer. Through coding the emitted light pulse, it can effectively overcome this contradiction. In this paper, on the basis of briefly introduction of OTDR's basic structure, principle and main paranaeters, the current development of pulse coded optical time domain reflectometer technology is summarized, and the realization method and coding gain of three commonly used encoding mode are compared.
