This paper discusses the properties,source and formation process of nitrogen trichloride byproduct from the electrolysis of brine,and methods to remove,and controlled concentration are introduced.Methods to determine the content of nitrogen trichloride are introduced emphatically.Authors make an appeal to establish standard to control its content and standard for its analysis.
