摘要
三元合金 Gd5Six Ge4- x是一种具有巨磁热效应的材料 .作者用熔炼法在氩气气氛中合成了四种 Gd5Six Ge4- x样品 (其中 x =4 ,3 .2 ,2 .16,2 ) .粉末 X射线衍射结果表明 ,当 4≥ x >2时 Gd5Six Ge4- x为正交晶体 ;当 x =2时Gd5Si2 Ge2 畸变成单斜晶体 .随着 Ge量的增加 ,晶胞参数及单胞体积都随之增加 .
Ternary alloys Gd5Six Ge4-x is a giant magnetocaloric material.Four kinds of Gd5Six Ge4-x ( where x=4 ,3.2 ,2 .1 6,2 ) were synthesized by melting corresponding elementsin argon atmosphere. The power X- ray diffraction analyses show that Gd5Six Ge4-x ( where 4≥ x>2 ) belongs to orthorhombic crystal and Gd5Si2 Ge2 isdistorted to monoclinic crystal.Larger quantitiesof germanium lead to a significant increase in the crystal cell parameters and unit cell volumes. The effects of homogenization on these alloys are also determined.
