摘要
HWM是ORACLE中使用和未使用的空间的分界线。它会随着数据的insert而上升,但它并不会随数据的delete而下降,因此HWM值过高将影响数据库的性能。本文在分析HWM对ORACLE数据库性能的影响的基础上,提出了三种有效的降低HWM的方法以提高数据库性能。
HWM is the dividing line between used and unused space in ORACLE. It will rise with the insert of data, but it does not decrease following the delete of the data, So if the HWM value is too high the performance of the database will be affected. Based on the analysis of HWM affecting the performance of ORACLE database, three effective ways to reduce the HWM are proposed so as to improve the performance of the database.
