摘要
根据后结构主义的话语分析理论,词典编纂活动是一种特殊的"话语实践"或功能"陈述"。在这个过程中,词典设计特征研究既是出发点,也是最终结果,同时还是词典类型归属的依据。英语单语学习型词典的谱系化发展正是得益于其设计特征相关研究的不断深入与完善。相比之下,我国英汉双语学习型词典的实践水平与理论研究尚处于发展的初级阶段,主要受到两大因素的制约:一是对单语蓝本词典经验的高度依赖,二是对真实用户需求缺乏充分研究。而这也正是导致双语学习型词典设计特征至今难以全面准确描述的重要原因。要真正提升双语学习型词典研编的实践水平,使其谱系丰富与发展,确立应有的词典类型地位,我们必须全面深入地开展双语学习型词典设计特征的"异质性"本体研究。当然,这种词典设计特征的"异质性"研究,并不否认单双语学习型词典之间内在的谱系关联。从词典类型谱系化发展的意义上来说,对英语单语学习型词典设计特征的借鉴研究具有认识论和方法论意义上的"根脉"价值,但更为关键的是,双语学习型词典设计特征的独立思考应扎根其目标用户群体的现实需求"土壤"。
According to the discourse analysis theory of post-structuralism,dictionary-making is a special type of 'discourse practice'or functional 'statement'. A study on the design features of a dictionary is both the start and end of the dictionary-making process. Meanwhile,it is also the basis for the typological classification of dictionaries. The genealogical development of English learners' dictionaries is exactly the result of the continuous development of the research in their design features. In comparison,English-Chinese learners' dictionaries in China are still at the initial stage of development both in theory and practice. This is mainly due to the restriction of two major factors: one is their strong dependence on the experience of the monolingual dictionaries from which they evolve,and the other is the insufficiency in dictionary user research. They are also important reasons why the design features of bilingual learners' dictionaries have not yet been depicted accurately on a full scale so far. In order to improve the compilation of bilingual learners' dictionaries in the real sense,enrich their genealogical development,and establish their role in dictionary typology,we must conduct an in-depth study of the'heterogeneity'of the design features of bilingual learners' dictionaries. Naturally,this study does not mean the negation of the internal genealogical relations between monolingual and bilingual learners' dictionaries. Judging from the genealogical development of dictionary typology,borrowing from the design features of English learners' dictionaries is significant both in epistemology and in methodology. But what's more essential is that independent meditation on the design features of bilingual learners' dictionaries should be rooted in the'soil'of the users' actual needs.
