摘要
诺贝尔文学奖得主、美国黑人女作家托尼·莫里森的代表作《宠儿》的既往研究，多数从宏观的马克思主义和文化批评视角、女性主义视角、黑人民族文化或黑人群体的整体性研究角度，探讨种族压迫、黑人女性的自我身份建构和黑人集体民族文化身份和权力的重构问题，鲜有对其微观的黑人女性身体书写与主体建构关系的讨论。论文拟从身体书写的角度切入，解读文本中的黑人女性主体的双重建构。文章认为，小说通过对几位主要黑人女性的身体书写，一方面揭示了她们由“无法言说”的种族蹂躏历史到用身体伤痕重写历史，黑人女性利用自己的身体作为与奴隶制斗争的武器，从而重建黑人女性主体的种族身份；另一方面，莫里森书写黑人女性的性欲和她们对身体的热爱，表现了黑人女性的欲望体验，挑战了男性主导的传统性别观和性欲观，从而实现了黑人女性主体的性别建构。从女性身体入手，书写被贬抑、被禁锢的黑人女性自我，莫里森着眼于黑人女性身份的重新发现和认识，其积极的政治意义值得肯定。
The previous scholarship on Beloved by Toni Morrison, an American black woman writer and the Nobel Prize Winner, has been done from the macro stance of Marxist and cultural criticism, feminist approach,the reconfiguration of black national culture or the integrity of collective ethnic identity. Not much work has been made to explore the relation- ship between black female body writing and the construction of Afro-American female subjectivity. This paper makes its attempt in this perspective. In the novel, body writing of several primary black women reveals that the unspeakable histo- ry of oppression and deprivation which Afro-American women were subjected to is rewritten by the evidence of the scars on their body. The essay argues that on the one hand, Afro-American women, with their body as weapon against slaver- y,reconstructs their racial identity. On the other hand, Morrison describes Afro-American women＇s desire for sex and love through body writing to show their special physical experience and desire and to break the male-dominated vision of gender and sexuality so that Afro-American female gender subjectivity is rebuilt. Morrison＇s efforts in establishing the connection between Afro-American female body writing and the construction of Afro-American female subjectivity is highly significant in its articulation of Afro-American female power.
