Research progress of the roles of Notch signaling pathway in craniomaxillofacial intramembranous ossification

摘要 膜内成骨是骨骼形成的重要方式,其受多条信号通路的调控,Notch信号通路是其中重要的一条。异常的Notch信号通路影响骨骼的形成。深入探讨Notch信号通路在膜内成骨中的作用机制,有利于揭示临床多种骨骼畸形,尤其是颅颌面骨发育异常的发生机制,提供新的治疗靶标。本文概述Notch信号通路对膜内成骨过程的调控。 Intramembranous ossification is regulated and affected by many signal pathways. Notch signaling pathway plays important roles in bone formation. Abnormal Notch signaling pathway leads to the bone deformities. Understanding the function of Notch signaling pathway in osteogenesis reveals mechanisms of various bone deformities, especially crani- omaxillofacial bone deformities. This article focuses on functions of Notch signaling pathway and its regulation on osteo- genesis.
