摘要
语言是文化的载体,文化是语言的土壤。语言的翻译在某种程度上可以说就是文化的翻译,因而文化因素会不可避免地对翻译活动造成影响,翻译中对文化因素的处理也尤为重要。本文通过探讨中西方文化的差异、译者的文化态度及文化的时代特征三方面文化因素,以此来了解其对翻译的影响,并分析了相对应的翻译策略。
Language is the carrier of culture while culture is the soil of language.To a certain extent,language translation can be regarded as culture translation.Cultural factors inevitably have an impact on translation activities,which makes cultural factors become more important in translation process.By exploring the differences between Chinese and western cultures,translators＇ cultural attitudes and cultural characteristics of times,the influence of culture on translation are revealed and the corresponding strategies are discussed.
