摘要
全民阅读水平是衡量一个国家社会文明程度的重要标志,是一个国家综合实力的重要组成部分。目前我国全民阅读的水平还相对较低,推动全民阅读是图书馆的社会职责之一。图书馆应发挥自身优势,开展丰富多彩的阅读宣传活动,要增强创新意识,不断延伸服务领域,更好地推动全民阅读活动的发展。
The level of nationwide reading,which is an important symbol to measure a country’s social civilization degree,is an important part of a nation＇s comprehensive strength. At present,the level of nationwide reading of China is still relatively low. Promoting the nationwide reading is one of library’s social responsibilities. The library should play its own advantages,carry out colorful reading promotion activities,strengthen the consciousness of innovation,continuously extend service scope,and better promote the development of the nationwide reading activity.
