Growth rate of castings output slows down in ChinaAccording to information released by the China Foundry Association at the Sixth China High-Level Foundry Industry Forum on April 7, 2013, the total 2012 output of various kinds of castings in China was up to 42.5 million tonnes, up 2.4% compared to 2011, and the growth rate of output of castings in China is slowing down sharply. From the changes of materials types, it is known that in 2012, the output of aluminum alloy castings was increased by 7.2%, nodular iron castings 3.8%; the output of grey iron castings was slightly increased while that of steel castings had no growth.
