摘要
文章对中国民营上市公司高管薪酬性别差距进行了调查研究,发现民营上市公司男性高管总薪酬和货币性薪酬均显著高于女性高管,且呈逐年扩大的趋势。但是对CEO为男性组和CEO为女性组公司的对比检验显示,两组样本公司的业绩并无显著区别,说明女性高管获得的薪酬激励相对不足。此外,CEO为男性的公司其核心高管人员的薪酬差距显著高于CEO为女性的公司,表明男性CEO更倾向于营造公司的竞争氛围,而女性CEO公司更偏向于建立合作的高管工作环境。
This paper firstly investigates managers' gender and compensation gap for China's private listed companies. The results show that China's private listed companies do have the gender difference of compensation which is significantly beneficial to male. However, corporate performance for the companies has a male CEO has no significantly difference with those companies has a female CEO. Furthermore, the core managers' compensation gap in the companies has a male CEO is much higher than those companies has a female CEO, which means that male CEOs like competitive environment while female CEOs like cooperate environment.
