摘要
随着Internet的迅猛发展,IPv4逐渐暴露出各种各样的缺陷,已经不能满足用户的需求和网络发展的需求。为了解决IPv4耗尽带来的问题,IETF着手研究开发IPv6协议,能基本解决目前IPv4所存在的大部分弊端。不过IPv6不可能立刻替代IPv4,所以在相当一段时期内两者将共存。如何将IPv4网络过渡到IPv6是迫切考虑的。介绍了IPv4与IPv6的优异差别,分析了几种常见的过渡技术:双栈技术、隧道技术、NAT-PT协议转换。同时主要介绍了隧道技术中的ISATAP、6to4两种技术。并对三种过渡技术的优异性进行了比较。
With the rapid development of the Internet,IPv4 gradually reveals a variety of defects,and it can no longer meet the needs of users and the demands of network development.In order to solve the problems caused by IPv4 exhaustion,IETF working on developing IPv6 protocol that can solve most of the drawbacks caused by IPv4 currently.But IPv4 may not be immediately replaced by IPv6,so both will coexist within some time.How to transit IPv4 networks to IPv6 is the urgent consideration.This article describes the differences between IPv4 and IPv6,and analyses several common transition mechanisms: Dual Stack,Tunnel and Network Address Translation-Protocol Translation.This article also introduces the ISATAP and 6to4 tunnel technologies.Furthermore,it compares the three transition mechanism.
