摘要
目的观察旋毛虫感染对链脲佐菌素(STZ)诱导小鼠产生Ⅰ型糖尿病(type 1diabetes mellitus,T1DM)的影响。方法将46只BALB/c小鼠分为6组,A组(7只)为单纯旋毛虫感染组,B组(7只)为旋毛虫感染急性期(感染后1周)STZ诱导T1DM组,C组(7只)为旋毛虫感染慢性期(感染后7周)STZ诱导T1DM组;D组(11只)、E组(7只)均为单纯STZ诱导T1DM组(分别为B、C组的对照),F组(7只)为空白对照(正常小鼠);应用血糖仪监测各组小鼠血糖水平,光镜下观察小鼠胰腺病理变化。结果旋毛虫感染后STZ诱导T1DM小鼠的胰岛病理变化与单纯STZ诱导T1DM小鼠的相似;在感染急性期T1DM小鼠的血糖水平显著降低,在慢性期血糖无显著变化。结论旋毛虫感染不能阻止STZ诱导小鼠发生T1DM。
Objective To observe the effects of T. spiralis infection on streptozotocin-induced type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) in mice. Methods Forty-six BALB/c mice were divided into 6 groups (A-F). Group A (7 mice) was infected only with T. spiraIis. Groups B and C (7 mice each) were infected with T. spiralis and had TIDM induced with STZ (a- cute and chronic stages of infection, respectively). Groups D (11 mice) and E (7 mice) had only T1DM induced with STZ (the corresponding controls for Groups B and C). Group F (7 mice) was the blank control group (normal mice). The blood glucose levels in each group of mice were tested using blood glucose monitoring (BGM), and pathological changes in the pancreas were observed under a light microscope. Results Pathological changes in the pancreatic islands of mice that were infected with T. spiralis and that had T1DM induced with STZ were similar to those in mice with only T1DM induced with STZ. Blood glucose levels decreased significantly in the acute phase of infection but did not differ markedly in the chronic phase. Conclusion T. spiralis infection was unable to prevent the development of STZ induced T1DM in mice.
