摘要
分析了不同折射率结构预制棒的拉丝结果,探讨了拉丝工艺与光纤折射率的关系。基于扩散原理和玻璃材料光弹效应特性,阐述了折射率对光纤性能的影响以及通过调节预制棒拉丝张力和炉温来调整光纤折射率,进而实现优化光纤模场直径(MFD)、截止波长(λc)、衰减等参数的目标。
The drawing result of preform with different refractive index was analyzed, and the relationship be- tween drawing conditions and optical fiber refractive index was described in this paper. Based on the principle of diffusion and the photoelastic characteristic of glass material, the influence on performance of optical fiber by refractive index was discussed. Meanwhile, tension and fumace temperature was properly controlled dur- ing the preform drawing process, so as to adjust the optical fiber refractive index. So the goal of great optical performance is realized, such as mode field diameter, cut-offwavelength, attenuation etc.
