主观评价性时间副词"才"在语义上具有多重双向性特征:它既可以表示界变,又可以表示量化。"才"表界变时,既能表前向界变又能表后向界变;表量化时,既可以表长时量化又可以表短时量化。"才"与多重双向性语义特征相对应是句法模式上的两两对立,其语法意义可抽象为线性或度量上的相对偏离。
The subjectively evaluative time adverb ＂cai（才） ＂ has the multiply bidirectional features in semantics. It can be used as not only the bounded change semanteme, but also the quantitative change semanteme. For the bounded change, it can represent both forward bounded change and backward bounded change; for the quantitative change se-manteme, it can represent both the long time quantitative change and the short time quantitative change. Corresponding to the multiply bidirectional features in semantics, the syntactic patterns of the time adverb ＂cai＂ have the characteristics of the two by two opposition. The grammatical meaning of the time adverb ＂cai＂ may be summarized as a relative deviation on an axis or in the quantity.
