摘要
金属碳笼是继笼状结构C60之后发现的又一个"明星团簇".人们对它的几何拓扑结构和电子结构特性进行了广泛研究.概述了金属碳笼的稳态结构、电子结构和光谱学特性以及金属碳笼生长模式的研究成果.最后介绍了金属碳笼作为储氢材料的最新研究进展,并对其应用前景进行了展望.
Metallo-Carbohedrenes are a group of clusters which have attracted much attention following C60. Their geometry and ground electronic states have been studied extensively. In,this paper the recent progress in the studies of their lowest-energy structure, electronic structure, absorption spectrum and growth mechanism are summarized. The latest developments of using met-cars as hydrogen storage material are introduced and the prospects of this field are discussed.
