肖像漫画具有突出的特点,可谓在漫画艺术中"一枝独秀"。它彰显了艺术形式上的新颖和表现手法上的浪漫,具有幽默、风趣、灵活多样的艺术风格;其生动的形象和巧妙的构思,表征着漫画家丰富的想象和自由的创作空间。肖像漫画选择真实人物为绘画素材,能够根据真实人物的特点进行艺术夸张,经过概括提炼后,创造出鲜明的艺术形象。
Caricature with its outstanding features occupies a prominent place in the comic art. It highlights a novel art form, romantic expressive techniques and a humorous, playful and flexible artistic style. Its vivid imagery and genuine conception bespeak the caricaturist＇s rich imagination and creative freedom. With real people as their subject matter, caricaturists exag- gerate certain features of these people and, through condensation, come up with a distinctive artistic image.
